Vegas

Work took me to a conference in Vegas. Since I was traveling alone...I brought my hubby and mother-n-law along.  Lucky for me, I have the most wonderful mother-n-law that any woman could ask for. She hung out with hubby during the day and we enjoyed some great food and show in the evenings.
We stayed at the Paris hotel, who knew we would have our pic in front of the Eiffel Tower in France and the USA within a 6 month period?

We went to the Cirque du Soleil  “O” Show. It is an aquatic show, the surrealism and theatrical artistry is amazing, it consist of synchronized swimmers, divers and acrobats, and character perform in, on and above the water. It is truly like nothing I have ever seen in my life.  Immediate after I took the opening photo...they said no cameras. Out of no where, the performer drops down from the ceiling. The setting was in a magnificent theatre reminiscent of a European opera house. 

The Belagio Hotel is where we attended the show. They were also celebrating the Chinese New Year and the floral arrangement in their lobby and in their Botanical Garden were breathtaking.

It was a wonderful evening visiting the Bellagio, going to the show and experiencing such a beautiful hotel.

Friends Valentine Banner

There is a group of girls that I have met at art gatherings from around the country. We live in different states, have totally different lives,  we talk often through group text,  we laugh till we cry, we share our joys, we share our struggles, and we all have a love  for creating art.

We are so lucky to have this union.

This is our most recent group project. It is our Valentine Banner Swap.

The banner was close to 10’ long...I had to hang it from a high shelf over my breakfast bar...
