Yesterday, we went to  Aix-en-Provence, known simply as Aix, is a graceful, lively city, is known for its thermal hot springs, art schools and universities. We went to a market that had clothing, shoes, fabrics, tablecloths, jewelry, & other items at a fraction of the cost that it is sold in the states.

A favorite site was the Cathedral de Saint-Sauveur dates to thirteenth century and offers an interesting mix of styles including a largely Gothic structure, a Merovingian baptistry with Roman columns, and a Romanesque Cloister.
