Fox Hollow Studio

Just returned from Santa Fe... you fall in love with the soutwest culture, the art, the food and the beautiful landscape. We took time to visit the missions the art museums, my favorite the Georgia O'Keefe... the beautiful historic St Frances Hotel where we stayed... and meeting up with very dear old friend and I can't leave out the fact we made our trip with our besties, Ron & Deb our traveling buddies. We just had a great and relaxing time. 

Things have busy, but June and July seems to be giving more time to blog and do some art projects. I have a couple classes that I enrolled in with Terri Brush on soldering when they were on sale a while back and hopefully, I can start studying them.The lilac bushes were in full bloom and the scent was spectacular. I love taking photos of beautiful flowers.

I feel honored to be a guest artist for the month of June at the Paseo Gallery One in Oklahoma City, OK.  This is not something I was working toward. Totally shocked when asked. I didn't quite realize that this meant I needed lots of art to display. So after comitting myself...I woke up from this dream and thought, I have to make more art! Oh my! I had to get busy and create! and create and this piece was created the night of the Oklahoma City tornado so I took my art, displayed it and this Friday is opening night. This is one of my pieces that was taken to show the gallery my work. It sold. And the best part, meeting the individual that was so excited to take it home and love it.  That is the biggest compliment anyone could ever ask for. Peace.
